Life

The recent graduates have presented a rather dismal view of post-college life.

Here's the adolecent C.S. Lewis's life philosophy:

"Term, holidays, term, holidays, till we leave school, and then work, work, work till we die."

I wish I would have heard that quote before I desided to graduate in only 3.5 years.

Haha, I've always hoped that if I was following God, there was only one direction my life would go. I don't mean that nothing bad will ever happen, I know a lot of strong Christian's have had horrible (even life ending) things happen to them. What I mean by my life getting better is that I hope I will continue to grow in God, and that's what really makes your life better, isn't it? I don't buy the whole "college days are the best days of your life, so enjoy them while you can" What a depressing thought. I'm pretty sure that God's capable of centering my life around more than my good ol' college days. Not that I don't love being here. I've grown so much while I've been here, and made so many good friends, had so many fun times. These may be some of the best days I've had yet, but I refuse to believe that this is the peak of my life. It's like the Tolkien quote I just put on my blog: "Children are meant to grow up, and not to become Peter Pans. Not to lose innocence and wonder, but to proceed on the appointed journey: that journey upon which it is certainly not better to travel hopefully than to arrive, though we must travel hopefully if we are to arrive." So, I'll continue to travel hopefully :-)
